Job Title:

Building Surveyor

Brief career history:

Studied part-time at London Southbank University 2010-2015

Worked at Dyno-Rod 2012-2015

Started at Paragon Oct 2015

About me:

I moved to London in 2011 to pursue a career in Building Surveying. Having recently completed a self-paid part-time degree I have changed career in order to build on my experience and hope to enjoy life in London to the full.

Outside of work my free time is usually devoted to the trifecta of music, beer and football. I play bass, love a beer festival and until recently had a season ticket at my beloved Portsmouth, where I spend weekends with friends and family whenever I can.

Favourite food:

Steak and Poutine. Preferably at the same time.

Favourite cocktail or drink:

Meantime London Pale Ale. Slightly chilled, it cant be beaten.

Favourite London eatery:

Zaibatsu in Greenwich or Hawksmoor

Favourite travel destination:

Portsmouth or somewhere in the US / Canada. I’ve been to Seattle, Vancouver, New York, Alabama, Boston and most of the West Coast. New Orleans and Vegas are next on the list.

Random thing someone wouldn’t know about you……:

I lived in a Central American rainforest for 8 weeks in 2005, where we rebuilt huts and bridges on a mountain trail. Hurricane Katrina hit when we were supposed to be training so we ended up going into the jungle completely unprepared. It was a real eye opener to say the least.
