We provided daylight and sunlight consultancy services advising on the planning risk regarding impact to neighbours amenity and envelope design advice to the architect, Foster and Partners in order to minimise impacts whilst still achieving the desired massing. The development will breathe new life into this out of date shopping centre with residential accommodation above a new shopping area.
We added value by understanding the complexities of the BRE Guidelines and helped the LPA and surrounding affected neighbours understand the impacts above the recommended targets.
