My Career History:

• Joined Briggs & Forrester and trained as a Mechanical Services Engineer
• Joined Bedford Borough Council as a Mechanical Services Engineer
• Moved to RPS Group Milton Keynes working for the Building Services department
• Joined Low Energy Consultancy (Briggs & Forrester) as the lead energy assessor
• Moved divisions in 2020 to become the Energy and Sustainability Manager

My Career Highlight:

Developing the thermal comfort strategy using dynamic simulation software for Bletchley Park’s new D-Day Exhibition.

What Keeps Me Motivated:

Trying to have a positive environmental impact. If I can make some small contribution personally and professionally, great.

What I Do Differently:

I always try to keep an open mind, especially to new ideas and I’ll always listen to others. The best solutions will often be found by collaborating.

What Keeps Me Busy At The Weekend:

If it’s not working on the house or policing the cats, then I can probably be found visiting a National Trust site or walking the countryside with my wife. If it’s raining then I might be watching a film, reading a book or listening to some music.

My Favourite Food:

Chilli Con Carne, but nothing super hot!

My Favourite Eatery:

Simply Thai in Buxton. Great atmosphere and great food!

My Favourite Drink:

Coffee in the morning. Tea in the evening. Either one in the afternoon.

My Favourite Travel Destination:

Where I got married. Lake Bled, Slovenia.

I have quite a large collection of music, covering everything from classical to heavy metal.
